Masquerade
This commissioned piece was inspired by early tattoo work, more specifically the dietzel girl design created by Amund Dietzel, which were inspired by early 20th century circus performers. In this piece the dietzel girl design was modified and transformed using brazilian carnaval costumes as a reference, merging both cultures and references.
